The Crawford County Sheriff's Office is at the same address and can be reached at (989) 348-4616 ext. 214 during its listed Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. office hours. Routine records-routing questions may also go through county dispatch at (989) 348-6341, which operates around the clock. Formal record requests use the county FOIA process. These routes serve different needs:
- For a booking record or photo, follow the county FOIA steps on the Crawford County arrest hub.
- For an immediate custody check, call the Crawford County Jail.
- For a Grayling Police incident report, contact the city police department and use the city's request process.
- For court charges or disposition, use MiCOURT and then contact the proper Crawford County court clerk.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, search the Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS system.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the separate BOP or DHS/ICE locator.
